In the Bitcoin world, the phrase "Bitcoin fixes this" has become a popular mantra, symbolizing a solution-driven approach to design and development. It often prioritizes the solution before fully understanding the underlying problem.
We chose to approach the design of Hoseki from a different angle. We started with a comprehensive understanding of the problem, delving into the details of what our users needed and the challenges they faced.
A cornerstone of our design process involved extensive user testing. Building interactive prototypes in Figma, simulating the experience our users would face with our app. These prototypes focused on complex Bitcoin transactions like message signing, multi-signature authentication, and extended public key selection.
Testing these prototypes with users allowed us to gain valuable insights directly from our users. This iterative process of design, testing, and refinement ensured that our solutions were tailored to the unique needs of our users. This apporach also allowed us to spot potential issues early on, saving valuable time and resources in the development stage.
